It can be a delayed onset allergic reaction caused by allergies to certain chemical components in medical rubber examination gloves or chemicals attached to the gloves.

To prevent severe allergic reactions, it is advisable to use them sparingly or not. Once allergic touch dermatitis appears, oral antihistamines should be taken and the dermatitis should be applied topically to the hands. The symptoms will quickly subside.
